MEDITATION CHIAR RECLAIMED REDWOOD

This version of the meditation chair was made of redwood reclaimed from an early version of our front porch. The screw holes from the deck boards were too raged for furniture so I plugged them with redwood not to hide the history of the wood but to celebrate it. Screw connections designed into the chair were plugged with contrasting ebony.
